Step-by-step RegistrationTo register with the Meteor meet and greet parking website you need to enter your profile and contact details in the registration homepage. We take data protection very seriously at Meteor meet and greet parking so all your data is stored in our secure booking system called eparking. If you look at the address bar when you are on any of our registration or booking pages you will see it reads: https://secure.eparking.uk.com/meteormeetandgreet..... Not all the fields are mandatory however we do advise that you complete as many fields as possible so we can provide you with the best service. Profile SectionThe profile section appears on the left hand side of the registration homepage TitleNext to ‘Title:’ you need to select your relevant prefix. If you click on the downwards arrow, which is next to the empty green box opposite the word ‘Title:’ the following prefix options will appear Mr, Lord, Prof, Mrs, Miss, Ms and Dr. To select your prefix, hover your mouse over the relevant title and click once, this will automatically put your prefix into the ‘Title:' box completing the field. For example, if you click on ‘Mrs’ this data will appear in the green box. You have now successfully entered your title. First NameThe next step is to enter your first name. To move to the ‘First name’ box click or tab once in the empty green box, opposite the word ‘First name:’. This will allow you to key in your first name. InitialsTo move to the initials box, click or tab once into the empty green box, opposite ‘Initials:’, this will allow you to key in your initials, which should include the first letter of your first name, first letter of your middle name and first letter of your surname. This data needs to be entered with no spaces. SurnameTo enter your surname, click or tab once in the empty green box, opposite the word ‘Surname:’ and this will allow you to key your surname. You then need to insert your email address. To do this click or tab once in the empty green box, opposite the word ‘Email:’ and enter your email address. The system will recognise if an email address is invalid and come up with a red message saying ‘invalid email address’ so ensure you include all details such as the @, co.uk, etc to avoid this happening. PasswordYou need to enter a password. The password must be something which you are not likely to forget. To enter your password, click or tab in the empty green box opposite the word ‘Password:’ and type. Your password can be anything you want it to be e.g. a place of special importance, the name of your first pet, your favourite meal etc You will then be asked to confirm your password in the box below. To reach this box, click or tab once in the box below. If your password does not match the one above a red alert will come up to let you know you need to re-enter both passwords. The next stage is to tab across to the contact section, which will take you to the right hand side of the registration page. Contact sectionAlthough these fields are not mandatory, we advise you put at least one contact number in. TelephoneClick or tab once in the green empty box, opposite the word ‘Telephone:’ and this will allow you to type in your telephone number. You can include spaces when you enter your telephone number. MobileClick or tab once in the green empty box, opposite the word ‘Mobile:’ and this will allow you to type in your mobile number. FaxClick or tab once in the green empty box, opposite the word ‘Fax’ and this will allow you to type in your fax number. Receive PromotionsYou are then given the option to receive details of promotions by email. Opposite the words ‘ Receive Promotions:’ is a small white box with a tick inside and the word ‘Yes’ to the right of it. This tick is confirming that ‘yes’ you would like to receive promotions from Meteor meet and greet parking via email. If you do not wish to receive promotions from Meteor meet and greet parking via email then click once in this white box, where the tick appears and you will notice that the tick will disappear. This will only work if you have entered your email address. AddressThe next section to complete is your address details. Opposite the word ‘Postcode:’ and next to the empty green box (on the right hand side) there is an icon, which has a picture of document and magnify glass. If you click on this icon a cursor will appear in a smaller box asking you to enter a full postcode. Once you have entered your full postcode, click on the ‘go’ button and a selection of addresses, which match this postcode will appear. You can scroll through the addresses by using the up and down arrows in the box below. Click once to select the relevant address. You will know that it has been selected as your address will be highlighted in blue. Then click on the button at the bottom of the box, which says ‘select’. You will see that this automatically fills in the fields for your address, town/city and county. This is a quick and easy way to complete the fields and avoids having to type all your address. Once all mandatory fields have been entered you can then scroll to the bottom of the registration home page and click on the ‘Register’ button. Congratulations you are now registered and able to take advantage of our online booking system. |
