Meteor meet and greet parking, the UK’s favourite airport meet and greet operator, has celebrated 26 years of parking.
To mark the occasion, meet and greet drivers modelled a selection of uniforms from the blue PAS shirt in the 1980’s to the burgundy CPS fleece, the grey Boomerang top and finally to the current Meteor uniform alongside a 1984 Volkswagen Golf outside Gatwick’s North Terminal.
All of the previous companies were bought and absorbed into the Meteor fold keeping existing experience and as a result Meteor meet and greet is now the most established meet and greet parking operator in the UK.
With over a quarter of a century of experience, Meteor meet and greet remember parking the first ever diesel Ford Fiesta around the time when Chaka Khan’s song I Feel for You reached number one in the chart.
Sarah Anglim, director for Meteor meet and greet parking, said: “In the past 26 years, we have satisfied over three million customers ranging from skiers and surfers to families and business travellers, making us the largest operator of airport meet and greet parking in the country.
“We would like to thank all our customers for parking with us over the past 26 years and we look forward to continuing to deliver our excellent customer service to existing and new customers for many more years to come.”
