In 2008 Meteor sponsored the Women's Olympic Bob Sleigh Team. The three girls making up the team needed sponsorship to go to Canada to compete in the pre Olympic competition.
Meteor's involvement was significant to helping Team Walker medal on Europa Cup and progress to the World Cup and gain the FIBT qualification mark.
